Activist Terry Bean wanted the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trangender community and their friends to clearly understand the differences between Barack Obama and John McCain on LGBT issues in the 2008 Presidental election. He also set a goal of "making your gay dollars count" by channeling political contributions to the Obama campaign through the LGBTforObama.com website.
